WHAT IS A GICLÉE? A giclée is a professional print using high quality archival papers, inks and printers. This allows for superior detail and color, together with long life of the reproduction. Professional giclées, properly displayed, can last several hundred years without deterioration. We have our paper prints produced on superb archival quality Hahnemühle German etching paper through a professional printing company, using state of the art printing technology with long lasting archival inks. We also offer high quality canvas prints on stretched canvas, framed or unframed.
ALTERNATE FRAMING: Mats and frames which accent the artwork have been carefully selected; however, there are many additional mats and frames available to meet specific requirements. Please Contact Artist for special requirements concerning alternative frame and mat choices.
FINISHED FRAME SIZE: Artwork sizes are based upon the mat size of the work. The finished framed size will depend upon the exact frame chosen. If it is necessary to know the exact size of a finished frame for a tight space, please calculate with the information available in the frame detail pages. There will be a slight reduction of the frame width or height as the mat and glass needs to overlap with the edge of the frame. To calculate a Belmont 1-1/4 inch frame for a 16x20 inch mat size, the following example will get you the Estimated Finished Frame Size of 18x22 inches as follows.
Mat height 20 inches
Frame width 1-1/4 inches
Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch
Mat width 16 inches + 2 1/2 inches (frame width 1-1/4 inches x 2 sides) - 1/2 inch (Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch x 2 sides) - ESTIMATE FINISHED 18 INCHES
Mat height 20 inches + 2 1/2 inches (frame width 1-1/4 inches x 2 sides) - 1/2 inch (Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch x 2 sides) - ESTIMATE FINISHED 22 INCHES
If using a 2-1/2 in frame with a 16x20 inch mat, the calculation would provide the Estimated Finished Frame Size of 20-1/2x24-1/2 inches as follows.

Frame width 2-1/2 inches
Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch
Mat width 16 inches + 5 inches (frame width 2-1/2 inches x 2 sides) - 1/2 inch (Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch x 2 sides) - ESTIMATE FINISHED 20-1/2 INCHES
Mat height 20 inches + 5 inches (frame width 2-1/2 inches x 2 sides) - 1/2 inch (Frame overlap on edge of mat and glass estimated 1/4 inch x 2 sides) - ESTIMATE FINISHED 24-1/2 INCHES
SHIPPING AND PREPARATION TIME: Giclées are processed within 3 days of purchase and generally require 7-10 business days from the date of order to process the professional printing and framing. They will take approximately 4-7 additional business days within the Continental US for delivery. Shipping art work requires careful packaging and insurance, especially for original (irreplacable) art. A flat rate fee of $49.95 is added for all continental US shipping, which includes handling, packaging, shipping and insurance costs. Shipping requests outside the continental US will incur additional costs, and will be confirmed with the buyer prior to shipment for all artwork. Please Contact Artist if you are local to the Phoenix metropolitan area and wish to pick up original art; or if you have other questions prior to ordering.
RETURN POLICY: All returns must be requested by buyer to seller via the Contact Artist page of seller's website within 14 days of receipt of artwork. Return shipping costs will be borne by buyer. Credit for returns will be based upon receipt by seller of undamaged artwork and framing, less any actual original shipping cost incurred by seller. Buyer should use adequate insurance for packaging and shipping, as any damage incurred during a return shipment to Seller, will require buyer to make claims to their shipper for reimbursement of both the artwork value and its shipping costs.
